We recently travelled to Dalton, Lancashire to assist the owner of a 2009 Mitsubishi Shogun who was having problems after their vehicle had been in a local garage. Unfortunately, during the time the vehicle was being worked on, the only remote key was lost.
While the owner still had a basic non-remote key, it wasn’t a practical long-term solution. Although it would start the vehicle, it couldn’t operate the remote central locking, and more importantly, it wouldn’t allow the customer to conveniently arm and disarm the alarm system.
